Britt Hubbard - Forester

I am an ISA Certified Arborist and a Registered Forester I graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. and M.S. in Forest Resources with an emphasis in Urban Forestry. Graduate projects included a survey of Leaders in MS Stormwater Phase II Communities concerning urban forestry and also a Street Tree Inventory of Hattiesburg MS.

Upon graduation I took a position with the Mississippi Forestry Commission as Grant Manager for the Hurricane Katrina Urban Forestry Grants. As a grant manager, I helped Mississippi cities clean up damaged trees, replant with native trees, rebuild their urban forests, and educate citizens on urban forestry issues in Master Urban Forester Workshops. As Hurricane Katrina recovery wound down, I relocated to Oxford MS and took a position at the Garden Center as salesperson and Arborist and worked with Woodland Tree Service to provide Oxford with quality tree care.

Currently, I am a full-time Woodland Tree Service representative serving Memphis and North Mississippi. Urban Forest management happens one tree at a time. At Woodland Tree Service I am part of a team that manages the greater Memphis and North Mississippi urban forests by providing quality tree planting, trimming, care, and removal in the residential and commercial setting.
